System of centromeric, episomal, and integrative vectors based on drug resistance markers for Saccharomyces cerevisiae

The authors constructed a system of shuttle vectors based on the widely used plasmid of the pRS series. Genes conferring resistance to Geneticin (kanMX4), norseothricin (natNT2), and hygromycin B (hphNT1) were used. The centromeric and episomal plasmids can be used the same way as the traditional auxotrophic marker-based shuttle vectors. The integrative vectors allow for direct integration in the LEU2, HIS3, and URA3 locus of any yeast strain.
The use of the plasmids is restricted to academical users for pure academic research. Before dispatching the plasmids we need a signed material transfer agreement. Please download the material transfer agreement (MTA), and send two signed hard copies to EUROSCARF. Sending the MTA by fax or email will not be accepted.
