Bimolecular fluorescence complementation analysis system for in vivo detection of protein-protein interaction in Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Plasmids for studying in vivo detection of protein-protein interactions by bimolecular fluorescence complementation (BiFC) assays. The created plasmids allow single-step, PCR-based C- or N-terminal tagging of yeast proteins with yellow fluorescence protein fragments for BiFC assay.

Due to discrepancies found by restriction analysis plasmids containing the HIS3MX6 marker cassette were partially re-sequenced. By this it was obviously that the origin of the HIS3 was not Schizosaccharomyces pombe but Saccharomyces klyuveri.
